I agree with the above poster, these books are good as supplements. They help to reinforce and explain information if used properly. If you use these books instead of your textbook you will be handed your walking papers soon enough. There is a lot of information left out that textbooks cover. Besides, the test banks for exams come from our textbooks and our instructors not these other resources. GL.
They are the best thing since sliced bread. :)
Seriously, they are easy to read, and help you understand what you are reading. I got though a lot of nursing school with the help of these books.
After nursing school, I continue to use them. In fact, I am starting a new pedi job and just bought a "pedi quick facts" book from the series (pocket sized book), and i just love it.
This series is most def. my favorite, even after school :)
Well, I'm not asking if they make a good replacement for the textbook. I'm just curious about people's experiences with the book(s).
The only reason why I mention that is I went to school with a couple of people that flunked a couple of tests because they thought they had simplified their studies. I even get Nursing Made Incredibly Easy magazine and love that too!

I have heard mixed reviews on this series of study guides made by Lippincott Williams. Anyone ever used any of them? Good experience? bad experience?
