I have quite a few job status' from Steward Health Care System that say "Our recruitment team has reviewed your application and you are being actively considered, along with other candidates, for the position. We will be in contact with you shortly should we wish to interview you. Unfortunately, we cannot accept phone calls about job opportunities.". Is this a good sign, or a default? I am hoping it means that my resume made it past HR and to the hiring nurse on the floor. Thoughts? Did any of you have this status? Outcomes? I have ben trying to get into L&D/postpartum care since I graduated in May 2013. I was working in a pediatric office for about 6 months before my family relocated to Boston. I now work at a pediatric office doing triage in Brookline MA, on Tuesday and Thursday...but I am still actively trying to get ino L&D/postpartum. I am also a lactation counselor (have been for 16 months), and I took an electronic fetal monitoring course through AWHONN. Any tips would be great :)

most of the hospitals have a faq page as far as application status goes. I have gotten phone calls from my apps that have said this.
