Quincy College Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I have applied to Quincy College's ASN part-time program for Spring 2018. I was wondering if anyone that has completed this program before could give me some insight. If I were to get in, does the program start right at the beginning of January or towards the end? Also, they said that we would be hearing if we got in or not around mid-October. Does anyone know when they usually do the orientation? Is it in October or is it closer to January? Thanks in advance!

Also if anyone else applied to the program and they start hearing back, please let me know!

Congrats! Just called admissions the lady sounded pretty confident that they will be mailed out tomorrow. I know they have said it before but this time it sound 100% true haha. She also said we should receive an emails sometime over the weekend, I am not a quincy students so not sure if it will show me anything in the portal.

Just want this wait to be over, So I can deice if I should go to bay state

I just want to know. It's killing me that decisions were made already and it's taking so long to find out.

I'm a current student and my portal looks exactly the same.. :'-( :'-( I just wish they would let us know already

Silly question.. Under my academic advising tab, under degree audit, it has LPN2RN listed. Is that just because I applied to the program?

Not sure , wish I could help but I know nothing about the portals nice I am not a student here

Also lets keep each other updated, If they were to go out tomorrow we should be getting them by sunday no? if anybody gets an email please lets us know, If I get nothing by sunday my anxiety will kill me haha, I will be away from home monday-thursday so hoping we hear over the weekend.

I don't think anybody knows what's going on anymore. I called and someone told me it's still another "week or two" (LOL), you were told tomorrow, and someone in the other thread said letters were already sent out!

Yes she said they started sending them out this week

Does mail even come on Sundays? The best we might get is an e-mail, MAYBE.

OMG Really? the disorganization is ridiculous , if it wasn't because of the price tag I would completely forget them, seems like no one knows what is going on. I will be calling tomorrow mid-day to ask if they got sent out, someone should do the same tomorrow, so we can see if they really did sent them out. I had someone call yesterday and they were told friday as well. There is this one girl who never seems to know, because she always transfer me to someone else, so frustrating .I am thinking they will though because if some people can see it in their portals, that means a decision was made.

seriously. My LPN program in Colorado was like this too....a continuous game of jumping through hoops to find the info!

I am thinking there might be different info based on the LPN to RN applicants vs the regular program applicants...maybe?....no clue

Ohhh, I didn't even think about the differences between the LPN2RN and the direct-admit RN program.

I just called them lmao I'm not playing games with these people I asked them again, if the tab is any indication, becaude more and more people are getting them. She put me on hold to check and then returned to say, "Don't go by the tabs. In all honesty. Go by the letter that is the only reliable source. We are sending them out tomorrow." I will keep you guys posted if I hear anything one way or another.
