Hello,
I have applied to Quincy College's ASN part-time program for Spring 2018. I was wondering if anyone that has completed this program before could give me some insight. If I were to get in, does the program start right at the beginning of January or towards the end? Also, they said that we would be hearing if we got in or not around mid-October. Does anyone know when they usually do the orientation? Is it in October or is it closer to January? Thanks in advance!
Also if anyone else applied to the program and they start hearing back, please let me know!
I e-mailed admissions and asked about the Portal thing, exchange is below:
"I'm just a little concerned, some people who applied to the program are able to see the status of their applications in the QC Portal and I can't see my application at all. I figured it was because I'm not a current student and am trying to transfer.
Thanks,
Samantha"

"Oh, no worries Samantha.
I see now that you applied to the Nursing Program.
The official letters are being mailed tomorrow – 10/20/17
Nothing is official on the Portal.
We appreciate your patience."
Thank you all for the updates!Congrats on getting in.It seems to be that the tabs are only for current students, and there may be a glitch with their system, calling tomorrow again don't care if I annoy the lol.I will also update as I hear any news. Good luck to everyone!LEts keep each other updated
I don't think she said it because of that, i just think they are so disorganized they have no clue if portals were updated for everyone. Remember the other girl telling us how hers was updated and then saying Unavailable it might of been updated for some by accident, I also think that only current or past quincy students will have their portals updated, I think that transfer students would not have anything on the portal. All we have to do is wait and have faith , as decisions have been made already .Same boat as you though the wait is driving me crazy haha.

Hey guys I am a current student and applied to the RN program, not LPN to RN. I have a Nursing tab on the top left of my portal. When I click on it it says congratulations and welcome to nursing etc... I didn't get an official email or letter. It does seem a bit disorganized but you get what you pay for I guess. Hopefully the official letters get mailed by the end of the week! Good luck to everyone :)
