Quick Results on a Saturday

What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the uncertainty surrounding post-audit/hold results after taking the NCLEX exam, with some speculating on reasons for the hold, such as finishing the exam quickly or significant score improvements. There is also confusion about the relationship between exam duration and hold status, as well as questions about the accuracy of quick results and the timeline for receiving a license after passing. Additionally, there is a mix of excitement and anxiety as members await their results and navigate the process of obtaining their licenses.

I took my NCLEX on Thursday at 8am, I know Pearson Vue says it takes 48 business hours to have the quick results, but I have heard that people here have gotten their results on the weekend. Is there any truth to that? It's Saturday now at 8:20am and still don't see anything Pearson Vue on the pop up says my results are on hold.

I am still on hold and it has been 48 hours. The only thing I can think of is I finished the exam too quickly, it took me a hour and half to do 75 questions. Still no quick results either, the waiting is tough.

That's definitely not it. I finished in 45 minutes back when I took NCLEX in '07. Tested on a Thursday and had results on Saturday.

Then what I also read on the board of nursing is that if the score changed significantly that is something they would investigate and could put a hold on. That's also eight years ago, the test gets changed every year so the statistics and time lapses may be different now. Because really all the other reasons you could be put on hold don't apply to me, I spoke to the people at Pearson Vue and there was no incident report so idk what else it could be. Hopefully this hold gets lifted tmmrw they were closed this weekend. I am anxiously waiting, I finished school with a 3.7 BSN and I failed the first time at 132 questions which was a major let down. I am hoping that this time I passed at 75 I felt much more confident this time around when I left the center. But who knows, Ill just hope for the best, thanks for the input to those who have responded to my blog it's helped as I wait.

The amount of time while taking the exam doesn't have anything to do with a hold. I took my exam Thursday, 87 questions in 50 minutes. My results were available on Saturday.

It might if you are a repeat tester and there is a big discrepancy.

What do you mean a big discrepancy

So I ended up getting my quick results this morning and passed!!!! How long does it take for my license to appear on the NY state board of professions website? I still do not see it. The quick results are 100% accurate right?

Quick Tip for message board success: don't post the same question on multiple threads! Those of us who answer only want to do it once ;) And I just answered you on another of your threads ?

Congrats!

sorry just got a little excited thanks for the response

Wait where is your answer to my question I don't see it on the other thread could just restate it I'm sorry don't mean to be a pain.

Ok, you have GOT to calm down! ? Seriously, you're gonna give yourself a heart attack.

NYS updates pretty regularly, as I recall. Some States update daily, some a few times a week, others only every few weeks. Passiing the NCLEX isn't the same as getting a license, so you have to allow a bit of time for NYS to process your 'pass' and assign you a license number. Assuming there is nothing delaying your application, you should see a license number on the State BoN within the next few days.

Congrats....and now BREATHE already! :D

I sure hope ur right. I took mine Saturday and 48 will be Monday which is mlk. But I will let u know or at least info upcoming viewers that's wondering the same thing

Has anyone ever failed a post audit/hold?
