I took my NCLEX on Thursday at 8am, I know Pearson Vue says it takes 48 business hours to have the quick results, but I have heard that people here have gotten their results on the weekend. Is there any truth to that? It's Saturday now at 8:20am and still don't see anything Pearson Vue on the pop up says my results are on hold.

Yes, quick results are available on weekends as well as holidays.
As I posted in your other nclex post, I got my NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN on Saturday and Sunday. I have friends who got their results on holidays.
It not 48 hours to the minute that the results are available. keep checking...if you tested on Thursday, your results should be available sometime today.
PS Are you sure your State participates with quick results? If it doesn't you will never see that the results are available.
Yeah New York participates in quick results, whenever i do the pearson vue trick it says my results are on hold. And the people at Pearson vue say quick results takes business days.
They can say it takes business days all they want. I am positive they are available on weekends and holidays as I said.
Take a look thru the NCLEX forum, you will see literally hundreds of people who got their results on weekends and holidays. :)
I can't answer why the trick says your results are on hold, but I am 99.99999999% sure it is NOT due to it being a weekend.
and for what its worth, for the sake of argument, lets say it IS business days....pearsonvue is open for business on Saturdays. They have testing times on Saturdays, which would make Saturday a busines day for them. :)

Hold means just that there is a QA/QC audit for some reason. Neither quick results nor BoN updating will occur until the hold is listed. (PVT won't work either)Results on hold are usually 24-72 depending on reason. Palm scan issues are ~48hrs. Testing quickly, power issues, other incidents 48-72hrs. More egregious issues such as leaving the building, accessing a cell phone or study materials will take longer, but you will know if you are in one of those scenarios.
I tested on Thursday and had results on Saturday.
I am still on hold and it has been 48 hours. The only thing I can think of is I finished the exam too quickly, it took me a hour and half to do 75 questions. Still no quick results either, the waiting is tough.
You cannot receive any results while on a QC hold. After 48hrs try calling Pearson vue customer service
What does QC mean in front of the hold?
Quality control/quality assurance. They review your answers, keystrokes, check-in and the audio & video of your test to ensure your test is valid and no anomalies.
If you are retaking and finished considerably quicker than previous attempt(s) they review ID & check in, plus do the QA/QC audit of both test to make certain it was just you improving not you paying someone else to cheat for you. Sadly that has been attempted in the past in the US and overseas.
If I hypothetically failed why would they be doing this, on my first exam I finished on 132 questions and left feeling not confident, this time I took 75 questions there was no issue with the finger scanning. This doesn't make any sense.
There is no logic that anyone can guess. People still pass and fail post audit/hold. Since its been 48 hours...,Call PV customer service to ask about your hold status before they close.
