I took the NCLEX this morning and I absolutely feel like I failed. I had 75 questions.
I took the KAPLAN review course in class and didn't feel as though that portion of the course helped me at all. I was also doing the online qbank and question trainers.. I know they said that you should get between 60-65% to feel confident that you will pass, but I wasn't. My averages were getting better, but I averaged anywhere between 54-63% with one 72% in there.
I think the review questions definitely helped. I had 2 math questions which were a relief and 2 SATA which I'm pretty sure I got wrong. So far everyone I've spoken to have passed which makes me feel a little bit better, but I felt like I did process of elimination without certainty on almost all of them.
Guess I'll find out tomorrow

Don't worry, most feel as if they failed. Think in a positive manner until you get your results. Good luck.

I took mine today too, and had 75. I basically feel like you. Just dont try and second guess yourself now, it wont do any good. I had alot of priority, teching, and meds. No math. Just pray and hope for the best, Good luck to you!

whether you pass or fail..if you know you did your best..its ok..we can always hope for the best but if it will not come, we can always try again..like me..i also stopped at 75..i failed..this is not to discourage you..as long as you do not receive it in black and white..don't lose hope..now im in the process of moving on and starting all over..God give me strength!...
Im sorry to hear that you failed. Have you tried Suzanne's plan? It is very good and in depth. It has a very high pass rate as well. Good luck.
oh my gosh.. well, I studied a lot. I guess if I failed, I failed. I haven't heard of an yone who failed with 75 yet. I'm sorry, I wish you the best of luck next time.

you really dont know if you have failed until you receive your official letter from the board. i have not heard of anyone who took the nclex and left the testing center feeling 100% positive. almost everyone i know who took the nclex felt distraught and confused especially when the computer abruptly shuts off.
keep busy and use this time while waiting for your results to take a break. good luck to you.

Never, ever assume that you have failed until you get your results. Actually 85% pass the exam the first tim that they test as long as they have trained in the US. So the odds are most definitely in your favor.
Number of questions means nothing in determining results. Nor how you do on the last question either.
Best of luck to all of you that are waiting.
