I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!
Hi pvnursegrad! First, hope things are going well for you. Right now, we are all really just hanging in there until either 1) we hear from HR about next steps, or 2) go to open house. So I guess my question would be, do you have any tips in regard to how open house is run?
Also, just as a basic question overall--should I ever land an interview--any advice in this area? Pretty straightforward interviewing or were you surprised with any of them?
And did you ever get a feel for the typical model candidate? Like all from big schools? All with certain # of hours in volunteer/service/experience, etc? Since this is kind of a lull right now, I guess I am wondering where I might measure up....or do I even want to know? lol.
So, the original email stating HR is now handling my stuff stated I should hear from them within 4-5 business days. It is now business day 7. Should I wait? Or risk being annoying and call to make certain my application didn't magically disappear in the migration from one application type to another?
UPDATE: Just got off the phone with HR. I had mentioned I was worried I got lost in the changeover, and they assured me I was still in the system. They were just wrapping something up in regard to this, and people who got the email from Versant stating they would receive further directions from HR within 4-5 days should be getting a message sometime within the next 48 hours.
