75 questions, ~19 SATA

Published

Just finished my NCLEX in 75 questions and about 18-19 SATAs. Had a LOT of "who do you see first" questions, no audio, no EKG, no math (or maybe one, not sure), maybe one putting steps in order, one exhibit. Some I felt confident about, others I had no idea. I guess most people feel that way.

Think I passed?

Same boat here.. Horrible feeling. Shut off at 75 but had over 25 sata. Why me?!! Praying we all made it! N results appear soon took it july 20!

Try PVT. Its accurate. Just change the credit card expiration date. Believe me.

Well, according to my quick results...I passed! Good Luck to you all.

You have a greater likelihood of passing in 75 questions than failing. The next 48 hours until Quick Results are available feel so long! Good luck to you both :D

Actually, you don't...it just might take people a smaller amount of questions to see that they don't know what they hell they are doing. Lol!

Seriously, 75 or 265 doesn't indicate pass or failure. Its all based on how well you answer the previous question and whether or not you are the lucky random person to get 265.

It's still rare to fail in 75 questions. The odds are in your favor.

Forgot to update you all- because I have been too busy celebrating and drinking wine but I PASSED! Yay!!!

Since the pass rate for first-time applicants is greater than 80%, there IS a greater likelihood that someone receiving 75 questions will pass rather than fail. Depending on how recent the statistics are that one reviews, it is somewhere between 82%-85%.

There is no "random person" getting 265 questions, this is a myth. There are MANY myths surrounding the NCLEX.

Speaking broadly, the computer will conclude the test when it determines to a 95% confidence interval that the applicant has proven competency or INcompetency. Those who complete the exam in 75 questions either did very well or very poorly, no grey area there.

Congratulations! :D
