Well, today was the big day.
I took my NCLEX-RN... I have been preparing for over a month now (not counting the preparation I was doing DURING nursing school)... and I went into the exam feeling nervous but confident in my abilities.
BOY, that changed quick!
Some of the questions were okay, but most of them left me thinking "What the...?"
...and as if I wasn't jarred enough by this, my test ended at 75 questions.
I know I answered the last question correctly, but the rest seemed so off the wall. Tons of pharm, select all that apply, prioritizing, etc... and when the test ended at 75 questions, it was all I could do not to bang my fists on the desk and demand more questions!
I've got my friends telling me this is a good sign... but ugh, I just don't know!
Thoughts, anyone?
Okay, so I took boards this morning....and my computer shut off at 75 as well.....I am freaking out. I figured I either failed with flying colors or passed by a hair. Has anyone heard of people failing on 75 questions?
I took Kaplan, Hesi, and I reviewed my butt off! I had a good selection of pharm, 8-10 select all that apply, infection control, etc, etc. I am holding vigil by my computer waiting for pearsonvue to release the results!!!
Took the test June 7 at SFO. Same experience with you guys, computer shut down at question #75. Loads of SATA's, pharma and prioritazations. Went to the exam very confident because I thought I covered all possible questions, and scored an average of 83% on the Saunders NCLEX-RN review book. But when the test started I almost panicked because I was overwhelmed by the alternate format questions. Left the test center feeling dumb and I still have butterflies in my stomach. Hope we all pass this awful exam, GOODLUCK!
I just took the nclex and i am aswell freaking out. it shut off after 75 questions and i felt it was extremely difficult, i'm worried because I feel the last few questions were easier and i've heard that if they are easier it can mean that you didnt pass, I also was done so fast, it only took me about an hour and a half, I had TONS of select all that apply and infection control stuff. I'm so afraid i want to throw up!!!!
