I have some questions on the H1B visa. My agency is saying because I have a bachelors degree in Behavioural Psychology they do have some jobs available in mental health that require a bachelors degree and we can apply for the H1B visa. I am sceptical from all I have read here.
I am worried what happens if the H1B visa is denied I am currently on F1 status and that would result in me having no visa and having to go home right?
Also if I do get an H1B visa they are only temporary for 3-6 years can I apply for the EB3 visa while on the H1B visa so I can switch visas to a permenant green card later?
Also I keep seeing it written that the wait for an EB3 visa is going to be "several years" I am not familiar with that term and to me that means it will be at least 7 years till I get my visa is that what "several" means? I know their is not an exact time frame for getting a visa but I was thinking it was going to be average 2-3 years not 7!!!
It will all have to do with documentation and that all the t's are crossed and i's dotted. Incomplete or wrongly completed paperwork will result in denial

Miss suzanne how long does it really take for an employer to petition you under the H1B visa category? I am actually very hesitant to push thru with an agency here in the philippines which is offering me an H1B. They called me up saying i am now hired because i passed the telephone interview by the supposed employer and i have provided all the necessary requirements. I am hesitant because i have an EB3 filed under another petitioner (im actually in my packet 4) and i am afraid it may have some legal implications on my part, not to mention fees i have to pay (Although i paid for all my exams).. Hope you could give me a sound advice. Tnx
anyone, is it possible for me to file for h1b visa even if i was already petitioned for immigrant visa by an agency? I tried to follow up my application with them and they told me to just apply and accept offers from other employers because retrogression is not yet lifted and they can do nothing about it?
9 mos. volunteer work experience definitely doesn't meet the requirements for a H1B to be granted. You should have at least 2 years experience in a specialized area.
Some agencies just keep on filing these applications taking advantage of the fact that the H1B quota hasn't been met yet. Some doesn't even require paperworks like VSC when everyone knows that it's one of the most impt. piece of paperwork in the whole process. tsk tsk tsk
Hello.Do I have to pass the IELTS exam in order to get H1B visa or just to pass the NCLEX and have BA degree+job offer?Any advises of agencies or hospitals who sponsor H1b visa?
You need a visa screen certificate for H1b (any visa if you are the main applicant) and English exam is a requirement and vsc is required when submitting paperwork

I just want to ask what are the basis of the uscis to whether approve or deny a petition? Authenticity of the documents? what are the other factors that can affect the petition? I'm really anxious, don't know what to think. I've red a lot in the forums and it's making me loony..
thank you so much.
