75 questions this AM and don't feel good about it....

Well, I took the NCLEX this morning. the computer shut off after 75 questions and I REALLY do NOT feel good about it. These next 48 hrs are going to be rough. I feel like such an idiot. I have a horrible sick feeling I'll be taking it again in 45 days :uhoh3:

Hi all. I took the test today and it shut off at 75 questions. I had a feeling it would but I dont know if thats a good or bad sing. I know I got a few wrong but I had at least 15-20 priority. I dont know what to think and its agonizing to wait until Saturday for the results. How bad do you have to do to fail in 75 questions?

I had about 20 to 25 priority...all at the end, one after the other. Shut off at 75..... don't know. Hoping that's a good thing.

All you guys who answered 75 questions I am sure you passed... You all put in a lot of time and energy and I am sure it will show on the test. I used Saunders and Lippencott and did good answering those questions but I felt blind-sided with the NCLEX but it is over now.

Elfchen1, You in Austria? Always wanted to visit Europe, Vienna in particular. Good luck and let us know how you did.

BTW: Thanks everyone for the support, You guys are awesome and you all saved me from pulling out my hair.

I took it on the 25th as well and got 75 questions... i had some complicated ones and some basic straight forward ones.... But when i reached 65, i couldnt even think anymore! My brain was too tired to think! then when it finally stopped, I felt like crying... I am still waiting for the result. I am terribly worried

IF you feel you knew some of the answers and it stopped at 75 I would bet money on the odds that you passed.

I am pretty good with determining my score after I take a test and I honestly believe I didn't get more than than about a 50% on that test. Out of 163 questions I say I really knew maybe, twenty, could guess at about another twenty and the rest I was totally clueless.

So I figure with some really good guessing I must have got about 60 out of 163 right. That is why I cant believe I passed.

Anyway, I am sure you nailed it...

:) i posted another thread. I had 157 questions and I am soooo scared that I failed. I mostly hear about people passing with 75. I didn't know if alot of the questions I answered were correct. But I digress. I hope we passed so we can begin working. Good luck!!

I took the test this morning, I also only had 75 questions and it shut off. I had tons of priority questions and it didn't seem like I had many easy ones. I hope to God I passed. I have been studying pretty regularly for the past month. Our college did ATI testing at the end of the school year and it said I had a 98% chance of passing so I hope I did. It also had drug questions which isn't my strong suit either. The director of our school said that we could go on the internet to the Ohio board of nursing and look at the liscense verification and when it doesn't say pending anymore it means you passed. But I don't know how long it takes.

Waiting and patience is not a virtue I possess!!

:lol2: :lol2: :monkeydance: I Passed!!! I took it yesterday and today I looked on my board of nursing state licensing site....... and I'm there registered nurse! I was so worried when I took it yesterday b/c it was very difficult; I guessed at everything I had.... the last 1/2 was all priority bam bam bam ...20 or more. And it shut off at 75... well I worried because (a) it seemed so much peds was on there and that's my weak point..and (b) I did NOT study at all..I walked in...and took it...and just went for it.. but I passed!!! woo hoo!

And I talked to an employer today...(3 hours away) and I have a job waiting for me and now have to move....in the next week!! WOW!!!

PS Becky I bet you passed! I took that ATI too...in fifth quarter and it said I had either an 98/or 99 percent chance also.
