  1. Hi you two. Lena I know how you feel. Its easy to feel incompetent, my preceptor tells me Im doing good but I dont know if I'll be able to do an assignment solo. I like having someone to ask questions to. Jan. 2 is my first day on my own and my facility dosent do protected time. Good luck to oth of you and Im sure you will be great nurses.
  2. If I remember correctly, Dana Faber is the highest paying followed by BMC. I read it in the MNA newsletter.
  3. Good luck Oualie. You will find something, and if you dont like it get experience and move on. Good luck!!!
  4. Congrats Lena. Im happy for you. Gerry make sure you start applying to jobs asap.
  5. Good luck Lena. I hope it works out for you. I have an interview at BI tommorrow. I'm excited and I'm expecting an offer from Union Hospital, which I think has a great new grad program. Im hoping one of the two works out for me. Again I wish you the best of luck.
  6. Hey, I am also having alot of trouble finding a job. Its not dwelling, its a depressing issue . Many places want experience, which I cannot have unless I get a job. Some nurses have told me to keep waiting because hospitals generally hire alot in Sept. and October. In what area have you applied?
  7. Hi all. I took the test today and it shut off at 75 questions. I had a feeling it would but I dont know if thats a good or bad sing. I know I got a few wrong but I had at least 15-20 priority. I dont know what to think and its agonizing to wait until Saturday for the results. How bad do you have to do to fail in 75 questions?
  8. Hey. I am experiecing the same problem. I have applied for many jobs and havent gotten any call backs. I was really interested in one position on Beth Isreal and I spoke to the nurse recruiter who informed me that they had way too many applicants and to try again in October. Its really depressing. I think after I take boards in 2 weeks I will start haressing people. Good Luck to us both!!!!!!
