Below are my question trainer scores....I take NCLEX in about 7 days. What should I do to improve? I know these scores are just that -- scores, but how many have had these scores and passed NCLEX on the first attempt? Im sooooo nervous!!!

QT1 55

QT2 61

QT3 51

QT4 62

QT5 61

QT6 56

QT7 58

These scores arent too promising I know, but Im going to continue studying and reading rationales - any other advice?? Thanks in advance!!!!

August you are taking the exam? Geesh...They are similar to my scores and I am taking WEDNESDAY. I will post if WHEN I PASS this week! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have faith in you Tracey!!! Let us know how it goes!!!

If you took the Question trainer (Q1) and got a low score, can you still retake it or not? Im sorry but I just wanted to know since the Kaplan reviewer online is new to me.

you can take all question trainers over and take the quiz bank over as well. they are the same questions. if you have several weeks before the test or just want to review retake it. just don't review it and take it again right away since they are the same questions in the same order.

good luck.

tomorrow is my big day. my (4) friends took it this morning. they all got 75 questions! it took them about 2 hours. that is a total of 14 people from our school all less than 80 questions and so far all past. they all said that our school prepared us well. bring it on nclex....i am gonna pass tomorrow morning! i have faith in my school and my studying!

good luck tracey

I took Kaplan also and had similar scores and unfortunately I failed the NCLEX. Please don't get scared by that. I think the issue is when we take the QT we are not putting all of our focus on the QT. When I took the QTs there were distractions all around me cell phone, TV, roommate, family etc. Now that I am studying to take the NCLEX a second time I am doing the QT like they are the NCLEX, which has really imporved my scores. I got the highest yesterday 70%! If a queation has something I don't know I look it up while doing the QT and write it down. Also when I am done with the QT I study and try to understand why the answers are correct. I am also reviewing content using a NCLEX study book to refresh my memory.

Hope this helps! Try not to study too much, just a few hours a day and keep positive thoughts. You can do it, you got through nursing school, you can pass the NCLEX. Take your time on the exam and make sure you read the questions carefully. Don't get discourage by the amount of questions ask just concentrate on the content. Good luck and take a deep breath, you can do this!

Hi I'm taking my test a day from now, (May 10 2011) and

I'm freaking out because of my last score in the Question Trainers.

QT1 - 72

QT2 - 73

QT3 - 61

QT4 - 63

QT5 - 66

QT6 - 61

QT7 - 58

I finished the Qbank and got 58% for the total Qbank.

I have 58 on my Diagnostic Test and 59 on Readiness Test.

I also answered some of the questions from La Charity and had a raw score of 247/399 = 62 %

Should I reschedule????

didnt use kaplan the first time i took nclex... Went to 265 questions and failed....used kaplan second time....Qbank scores avg were 53 percent...i did every single qbank question....question trainers ranged 53 to 59 percent....even though my scores were not desirable...i felt confident in the kaplan strategy..and knew that i had improved my thinking....i kept on working on the weak areas from my kaplan results and i took my exam on april 25 and passed with 75 questions........ I also used saunders and lachrity and kaplan review blue book...those were the ONLY resources i used.....
