Question regarding application deadlines

Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding deadlines for California schools (Cal states and private schools). I will complete ALL of my pre requisites from my community college in spring 2011. I would like to apply for schools for fall 2011 admission, however i have heard from my fellow class mates that for some schools ( i don't know which one) you need to complete everything before you fill out an application and there are other schools that you can still take one or two pre requites while applying. So my question is, which one is right? If so, which schools accept what?

Thank you

There are dozens of nursing schools in California. I would recommend looking on the websites (or calling) the particular schools that interest you. Plus it is better to hear directly from the schools than to rely on second-hand information on a bulletin board.

I can't speak for Cali, but most of the schools here in CT list EXACTLY whats needed before you can apply. But some will state that XXX class needs to be completed by Spring 20XX. Its all dependant on the school.

For example, one of the schools I'm looking at states Chem, A&P I and II are requirements for admission, but A&P II must be completed no later than the Spring semester of the year of application. So in order to apply to that particular school for Fall 2011 you MUST have Chem, A&P I completed but A&P II completed by Spring 2011
