When you have a select all that apply question is it better to not pick one of the options than to pick the wrong one?
I had some select all that applies for drugs. I had 5 options (I think) and I ruled out two. I knew two of the three left where correct but I was unsure about the other one so I didn't select it. Would it be better for me if I had selected it? Do I even make sense?
I don't know a lot about this type of question. Thanks

If you picked two out of 3 that were correct, you still get the question wrong. You need to answer all that are correct, and if you miss one, the whole question is wrong. You don't get partial credit.
I know I don't get partial credit, I was just thinking statistically is it better to go with what you absolutely know in those types of questions. I guess I didn't really explain myself well.

You can't answer that without knowing how many choices there are and how many of the choices are actually correct. Now, if you want opinions, that is a different matter. I personally would go with what I know and not do any guessing if I could avoid it.

I agree with Nursemomruns on that. I would go with what I KNOW and not guess, because guessing in these questions can lead to disaster. Good Luck!
