Hi, i have never heard of the AIT entrance exam, but i took a few entrance exams and most of them had the same format of testing certain types of knowledge. Science, reading comp, vocabulary, basic math, pre algebra. and then some tests had survey type sections on the exams.

I believe the ATI test is the TEAS. There's also the NET (Nursing Entrance Test) and the NLN (National League of Nursing) Entrance exam.

hi, godsend213!
the teas (test of essential academic skills) is written by ati, the assessment technologies institute. here is a link in to their website where you can get information about the teas test and another link to their online store where you can purchase the official study manual the company sells if you wish.
http://www.atitesting.com/productinfo/teas.aspx - the home page of the organization that writes and administrates this test. the test covers four general areas: math, reading, english and science.
math covers whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions, decimals, algebraic equations, percentages, and ratio/proportion
reading covers paragraph comprehension, passage comprehension, and inferences/conclusions
english covers knowledge of punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, contextual words and spelling
science covers science reasoning, science knowledge, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles and general science

some advice from an old nurse (even though you didn't ask for any). . . you can sit on your duff and be scared or get active and start doing something to make sure you have an active role in pulling a good score on this exam. life can happen, or you can go out and make it happen. the choice is yours. rns, if that is your goal, are leaders and independent thinkers. is that what you are, or are capable of becoming?
