Question about Licensure in PA

Hi!

I am a RN from Singapore, planning to obtain a license in PA.

I have passed both CGFNS CP and my IELTS. Now the last lap, will just be the NCLEX.

It is my understanding that I will need to submit an application for endorsement via examination.

In the application form, it asked for my basic nursing education...

I had actually started out being a RN with a diploma in Nursing. However, after obtaining a year experience, i had gotten my Degree in Nursing. I have been nursing for around 5 years.

So in the application form, do I put my diploma as my basic nurse education or my degree?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Unless you have already passed NCLEX then you have no license to endorse and must apply via application to exam and not endorse

Thank you for replying to my thread. Yup that it what I am intending to do. In the application form it asked for my basic nursing education. Should I be putting it as my diploma or my degree in nursing?

You should list your diploma, the program that initially prepared you for licensure and to enter nursing practice. That's the education the BON is interested in.
