Question for EC grads and current students

Published

I'm taking my 1st EC Health Essentials Safety test on Monday, Feb. 23rd. I'm nervous but I really just want to get it over with. I have reviewed using study guides 101 and my ADN textbooks from local CC. Plus I've purchased the EC practice exams and scored mid 70's on both practice tests. I think I'm ready for it.

Anyway, I just want to ask you guys... in what order did you take your EC tests (old and new curriculum). Just curious. I know you can take it in any order, but I want to know how you all did it. I appreciate any information you can give me.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Kay

Old curriculum, in order.

:)

Specializes in Psych, LTC, Acute Care.

I was under the new curriculum and took them in order. I think that is best because I test builds off the next.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Dialysis, LTAC, Hospice, SCI.

Under the old curriculum, I took concepts 7 and 5 out of order. You just have to go with what works best for you!

Specializes in Geriatrics, Psych.

I did them in the order of what I wanted to study. NC7, NC4, NC5, NC1, NC2, NC3 & finally NC6. And I threw some general ed's in-between them as I went along. It's definately a Perk!

good Luck!

In the old curriculum I took Lifepsan 1st and then NC 1,3,4,5,6,Foundations in order. I saved Micro and A&P for last.

Now i'm just waiting for that darn ATT letter!!!

Specializes in Med surg and Psych.

under old curriculum. All in order with exception of NC7...Took that boring one first to get it out of the way. YAWN! I liked the history, but not all of the laws. Good Luck to you in which order suits your fancy. They do build on one another like one post mentioned. Traci
