Studying for nclex rn 2010 with saunders only?

I've mostly used Saunders when I took NCLEX LPN and NCLEX RN. Passed both tests in one attempt. I think Saunders prepare you very well for the test.

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

    NCLEX/Needing to talk it out

I agree. Focus on 1 book. It's too overwhelming to try and use too many books. I used Saunders for NCLEX LPN and NCLEX RN. Works for me and many other people.

How is the Math on the NCLEX-RN exam?

I didn't get any drug calc from nclex rn...took it this morning. When I took nclex-pn, there was a lot of drug calculations. But not today. There's a whole bunch of prioritization questions, delegations, and SATA. I had a couple of med questions - not necessarily math problem. Good luck to you.... You will be fine.

So what does SATA stand for?

There's a lot of SATA when I took nclex today. I was trying to count how many, but lost count. I just answered this as best as I could.

    Tomorrow is the big day....

I used Davis...a little bit. Then 2 or 3 weeks before my test date, I used Saunders alone. That's what I used even when I prepared for NCLEX-PN in 2006. And I think Saunders prefer you well for NCLEX. I have too many nclex book and it's so hard to decide what to use. I read from one of the posts here to just settle and focus in one book, whichever one you prefer. I wanted to the Kaplan but, didn't have the money for it. From what I've heard from ppl here, Kaplan is good. So, you will be fine.

    Just took NCLEX-RN this AM!

Good luck....I'll have to wait till Friday for the quick result. But the good pop up made me feel good. Best of luck to you.... I hope we both pass and everybody who's taking it. :saint:

Oh boy, I'm going to lose it!! NCLEX in 3 weeks!!

I was an LPN-RN student, too. Took NCLEX RN this morning... I was nervous the last 2 weeks. I studied from Saunders NCLEX Q&A, did all the questions in the book then used the CD. I have too many NCLEX RN book, but I didn't want to confuse myself so I just focused on 1 book. You will be fine, I know it's easier said than done. I got the good pop up from PVT this morning after the test, so hopefully I really passed. Do as many practice questions as you can, that's what I did. I did 100-200 questions everyday and made my notes. Those practice questions really help a lot.

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

I took nclex today. I went home and did the PVT...got the good pop up. So, you should be able to do it as soon as you get home. Good luck.
