75 qs with 33 SATAs!! R u kidding?

Published

I took my NCLEX yesterday and can't believe that I got 33 SATAs (select all that apply questions)....after I got 10 in a row, it kinda became funny :chuckle. It seemed like some kind of cruel joke or something. I have no idea how I did- definitely have never felt worse about a test in my life!!! Guess I will find out in a few days.

I used Kaplan and i'm not really sure if it helped me or not. I hadn't even heard of most of the drugs I was tested on. I can only wait and hope that I passed I suppose. I wish you all good luck on your exams- and I hope your test does not look like mine did!

YOU DID IT ROOTEDREDWOOD!!!!!!!!! :yeah:

Yeah....I took mine today (July 1 2008) and had lots of drugs and lots of SATA...I am really scared...I don't think that i did well....I had a total of 75 or 80 questions but It cut off so fast that i am not really sure! Let me know how you did...ever heard of anyone failing with 75-80 qestions?

:crying2: I took mine yesterday, I had between 30-35 SATA, the test stopped at 75Q. I really do not feel like I passed, I hope I am wrong, I studied for 3 weeks straight, doing questions like crazy, reading the rationals on the ones I got wrong. The Kaplan test I did I scored 75% on, ATI I scored 86% on the comprehensive, and it said I had a 98% chance of passing on the first time. The Saunder's test's I scored 80-90 on 4 tests. I spent most of the afternoon crying yesterday, I don't feel any better today, it will take until Thursday for the results to be available for a fee through Pearson. I just feel ill. I know I am safe, I know my patho, my drugs, and I love nursing. I do not want to believe I failed because I worked so hard and long to succeed.

A girl I work with had 75Q and did not pass, there is no saying if someone passed based on the number of questions.

GypseyRose: You passed. I know I technically can't promise you that.....but in your circumstance I really think I can!!!! Although it is possible to fail at 75 ?s, I haven't seen a single post from someone who got that amount of difficult questions and failed at 75. On top of that, your ATI results would make it SOOOOOOO unlikely. Please don't cry, you've worked too hard to be sad!! I can't wait to see your post saying you passed.

I just took the NCLEX RN today and also got 75 questions with a ridiculous amount of SATA's (20-25). That totally caught me off guard, I went into this test thinking I would get 1, maybe 2, SATA's. But I feel a lot better after reading all your posts. I thought the questions were really difficult so maybe that's a good sign :)

I took my NCLEX today also. I finished with 75 questions and 21- TWENTY-ONE SATA questions. Can you believe that? I too am unsure how it went. I agree with a lot of replies. There were a lot of infection control questions. I had 2 math problems and 1 question where I had to put things in order. I hope that we all passed. I also don't want to have to face my family, friends and co-workers and tell them that I failed.:(
