  1. I'm an MDS Coordinator of a skilled unit that opens a couple times a year. My partner and I are very NEW MDS Coordinators with no formal training. We had a resident who was admitted late afternoon on Friday 3/27, but discharged early Saturday morning on 3/28. Her stay was less than 24 hours. We already submitted an entry tracker. So my questions are: 1. Do we do an admission assessment? 2. Do we do a 5 day scheduled assessment? 3. Therapy didn't even see her - do we do a start of therapy/end of therapy assessment? 4. What assessments should we combine? Thanks so much!
  2. I just took the NCLEX RN today and also got 75 questions with a ridiculous amount of SATA's (20-25). That totally caught me off guard, I went into this test thinking I would get 1, maybe 2, SATA's. But I feel a lot better after reading all your posts. I thought the questions were really difficult so maybe that's a good sign :)
  3. 1. how many questions did you take on nclex? 75 2. what study materials did you use? did you take a test review course? i used the sauders book and the kaplan review course. 3. did your son offer any testing (eri, ati, hesi)? ati 4. how long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? i won't get the results until monday, because it's a holiday weekend. 5. what were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? i'm certain that i failed. i cried the entire car ride home from the test. i got at least 25 sata questions and no theraputic communication or psych questions (my strengths) 6. was this your first attempt at nclex? yeah...and hopefully my last
