265 q's in NCLEX..

hi, im new here.. and i find it very helpful reading the other threads about nclex.. right now, im soooooo frustrated about the result of my exam, but somehow, this website helped me to stay calm, a bit, i guess.. i took my exam last sept19 wid 265 questions for 5 hours and 45 minutes! without breaks im soooo exhausted that day and really cried so hard when i got home, because i knew i will not make it, it's really really hard.. im still waiting for the result until now. i have to wait for atleast 2- 4 weeks. i can relate to some of the people here, who shared their stories about their agony of waiting. and it drives me really crazy.. im thinking about the result every minute each day.. as i wake up, d' whole day and before i sleep.. im soooo worried about the result. my friend who got 265 q's passed the exam, but my bf who also got 265 did not. so im just soooo worried, because i'm in between, i had this feeling that i won't make it. but i don't want to be pessimistic, and my heart says that i shouldn't give up and continue hoping and praying, for I know that the Lord is listening. and i just want pure positive thoughts, i know it will help. as of now, what im holding on is my faith in the Lord that He will help me and my other friends, and other people here who's still waiting to pass the exam. i reviewed for 2 and a half months, i had my review wid a review center here in our country [philippines] and had my saunders compre and q&a review as well. i really hope that it work, because i really work so hard for this, because this exam is so important for me, and i know for all of us.

i hope you can share your inspiring stories, not only for me, but for all those people who also have the same situation that i have as of now. thank you so much. and may the Lord Jesus Christ & Mama Mary help us..

*HUGS* hang in there! lots of people pass with the full exam and once in a while the computer will randomly pick some poor sould to take the full exam not matter how well they did, did you test for CA? a friend of mine got her results in 2 weeks from CA, she's from the Phillipines and this was her 2nd attempt (she took it the first time several years ago and was too scared to try again so I nudged er along with her dh lol) and I'm soooo proud of her!

hi, when I was taking the Lpn exam , I got the "middle" amount of questions and left feeling like I failed, then when I took the RN exam I got all the questions but knew I passed because I knew all of the answers, it is hard to wait for your test results but I believe if you go online to your states DOH, type in your name and area lpn or rn under license search and if you passed, itll say "pending" meaning you passed but they are getting your license number ready. good luck and let us know how you did, and if you dont pass, keep studying and remember if you didn't know the minimal information to be a nurse, chances are you wouldn't have passes nursing school (at least not my nursing school:) My friend who had a baby during the last part of nursing school, didnt pass the 1st time she took the nclex and was devestated but she did the 2nd time, some people have test anxiety especially when your future is riding on it and the fact its so damn expensive to take:)

It is just a number and you can still pass. As you have said you know 2 people who got max and 1 passed and 1 failed. Yes it could go either way but this is one exam you just can't predict. Hang in there and good luck

If my words help then that is more than enough for me. I know how hard it is to take the exam as I passed on third attempt but what made it hard for me despite being foreign trained was I had many many years experience and this exam is for new grads. Very hard to switch that off and be a new grad again :)

How can I go to DOH? Can yo give me the exact website of DOH California. Tnx a lot. I also take the Sept 19 NCLEX Rn exam.
