OMG I received my results this morning unofficially AND officially that I passed NCLEX :w00t:. I am bursting with excitement. I took my test on January 26 and I tried to Pearson VUE trick and I got the "good pop-up". I was screaming at the top of my lungs:rotfl:! I am a registered nurse !
NCLEX was so hard! I felt like I failed. During the test I just wanted to give up but I kept on going
. I got 91 questions and remember 15 of those questions are not actually counted. They are like "tester" questions.
I used ATI to help me study and I can say it really helped. Although NCLEX is about test techniques and knowing which one is the BEST answer and of course knowledge, I felt that reviewing different questions helped me a lot.
Good luck to everyone taking NCLEX !
as a brief clarification: it is likely that some of the questions you saw were being trialled for a future edition of the test; pretty much everyone will see some questions like that, and the answers for them will not count.* but no one can say for sure how many of those there were.
congratulations!:hrnsmlys:
*yet another reason not to freak out if you encounter some questions you absolutely cannot answer. they might be bad questions. give your best guess and move on.
Congratulations on all of your hard work and achievement! You should be (and obviously are!) very proud of yourself. I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX in a few days (Feb 2 2012) and have been studying mostly with ATI as well. Can you tell me what kind of scores you were getting on their tests (percentages) so I can maybe get an inkling of how much trouble I'm in? I did well in school but I was always just short of the A's - and often because I over-interpreted a question, etc.
Thanks for any advice you can offer regarding ATI prep and again congrats!
