I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

Have you scheduled your appointment? I found a problem, that is the ORI number. The school asked us to type TX 920440Z but the OR I number show on the PASS Is TX 923490Z. Does someone has the same problem?

I'm not sure. I didn't even pay it any attention since everything went through

I used the 920440Z one because it said the other one wasn't valid. I also put my SS# in and it said i wasn't found and to try again later on...did anybody else have this problem?

I figured it out by checking a document of my admission packet. I think this number is right number.

I used the 920440Z one because it said the other one wasn't valid. I also put my SS# in and it said i wasn't found and to try again later on...did anybody else have this problem?

They are supposed to have your records. Did you receive a email from the coordinator ask ing your ss# at last month ? I did. So I think they collected this information during that time. If you could not get through provided everything you filled was right, email her to ask. This card has 90 days' waiting, that is terrible long. We should get it as early as we can.

I am so confused. Can someone please explain to me what the paragraph under the orange font means on the email "If you still need an actual fingerprint card" how do I know if I need a fingerprint card?

I was confused too! I entered the TX 920440Z but TX923490Z came out as the ORI number in my receipt!

I got in fine typing 920440z on another note did we have to buy a copy for 24?

Nvm it changed it to 923490z, that's weird.

Yeah, I did. I called her and gave it to her....okay thanks, I'll try again today. My friend said it didn't take that long for her so maybe it varies

Did anybody schedule an appointment for the background check yet? Also who's going to the transfer orientation in December?
