PVAMU Spring 2015

I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

I scheduled it for Thursday at 10am and yes everyone that's accepted is going on December

I just dropped my package to admission office. My background checking is scheduled on 5th 4 pm .I have not registered the orientation yet.

I registered for the orientation but I'm confused. Are we suppose to get a confirmation email from them for the orientation so we know exactly where to go and what time? I signed up on Friday and I haven't heard from them yet. Did anyone get a confirmation email that signed up?

How much was the background check?

Yes I received a confirmation. Did u put in the comments, nursing student for December 2?? And the background check was $44

Yes I did but the lady said 3-5 days so I guess I have to wait

I just received email for orientation they will tell you where to go

I was confused too! I entered the TX 920440Z but TX923490Z came out as the ORI number in my receipt!

Don't worry about that .what we do was right. Check the instructions come with the packets. It confirms the number is TX 923490Z.

Hey guys, is anyone of you trying to find an apartment near the school? or can recommend an apartment near the school?

I currently live in a one bed-room apartment about 10mins at the most away from the medical center but my rent is almost $800, I know some other ones that are not far from the school that are cheaper (in the low 600's) but I'm not sure what they look like and I heard the area is a little sketchy.

So I got my background check done today. Are we suppose to give that fast pass form to pv?

I think we keep the form for our records and when we receive the blue card then turn it in to Pv but I'm unsure
