I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

Does everyone go to the orientation on December 2nd?? I am wandering if this one can cover transfer student orientation? And also, they require everything we have turned before, including transcripts and other documents. I stuck at this point. I have no original copies. I don't know why they ask for this again, we have turned in two copies. ???

U don't have to have that stuff, they recommend it just in case something is missing since we are able to pre register that day. They just want to ensure that you have everything

I've actually done this background check for my work just recently in June and so I guess I'm already in the system mine didn't take long.

They send the fast pass automatically after we've done our fingerprint and background right? We don't have to request one?

Also, does anyone know where we are supposed to go when we go to orientation? When I signed up I never got an email with information so I'm just trying to figure it out lol

Yeah they send it automatically. We have to go to Pv for the orientation. The main campus

Hi everyone, we know the new semester is coming. I am considering about purchasing textbooks for the new semester. Where and how to get books economically is a challenge for me. Does anybody have any suggestions about that? Thanks for sharing.

hey everyone! I have a question.. I'm looking to apply for fall 2015. I was wondering if pvm would waive my government classes. I took government 2305 and 2306. I notice the conversion chart lists 2301 and 2302? I think I may have to take a business or economic class because I have not taken them..

I have a quick question for everyone that got accepted. Did you guys need to submit letters of recommendation with your application? Also did you have to take sociology class? I see you have can take a computer class instead of speech and a finance class instead economics.

FutureCRNA85, I doubt they will waive it. I had taken a computer class back in high school which counted for college credit so I wouldn't have to take one but PV made me take it again because they said it had to be the same course number as the one they have listed on there

Yes you have to submit 3 letters of recommendation Roxybp72. I'm not sure if it's required but I took one cause other schools do need it and either way it counts towards your electives
