Congrats. Me Too!!!Are you on RN to PMHNP Program? I just don't know about this school. I am taking RN to PMHNP. I live in Utah and am going to take online. But, I was told that we needed to go there two or three times. Do you know about this school?

Yes, I am also doing the RN-PMHNP program. It's my understanding that we go there for a few days, a few times for practicums. I am from Virginia. There is not much out there on this program but hopefully will get more info in the coming weeks!

I am considering applying to Wilkes for the PMHNP program as well. How competitive is the program, do you know? I know psych isn't the most "popular" specialty, but I really enjoyed it. I've been out of school more than ten years and it is hard to swallow the idea that my sub 3.0 GPA will hinder any chance of being accepted into a graduate program. My nursing school grades were pretty strong, however. Mostly B grades, just a few Cs and some As. I would love any input you have. Congratulations on your acceptance!

I am glad that you are on the same program! Yes, we have to go there two or three times if I remember correctly. I was told that we would receive some class schedule next week. How did you know about this school? I just came across their program online and I applied. Have you taken statistics? I haven't. Most of school requires it as a prerequisite course, but I don't know how it works. Let's keep in touch. Here is my email [email protected].

Does Wilkes assist with clinical placements or is it completely on the student to find clinicals?

I don't know whether to trust this program. As soon as I asked for info I got a call from a "counselor" who wanted to sell me on it. That doesn't leave a good taste in my mouth at all.
