Anyone else in this with me? It's up on blackboard!
This class is a lot easier than I thought it would be. Especially considering I haven't had any math since high school. Missed 1 question each on Mods 1 & 2, and got 100% on Mod 3. Just turned in Mod 4 and will start working on 5 today.
I've found that, for me, the book describes everything really well to the point that I feel I don't need to watch the videos. However, I learned that I have to watch them anyway because the answers to some questions can't be found in the book. I just assumed "supplemental" meant "optional" but that's not the case.
I'm on the fence. I really get some of it, then others I struggle so bad on. I'm spending a ridiculous amount of time on the work. I'm so stressed, but I'm also taking Evidence with it. Big mistake. I knew I shouldn't take stats with anything else, but it would have really screwed me up not to. Thankfully my husband is a HUGE help with our kids right now.

Don't let the math scare you. Really, I was horrible in math in school. I hadn't had a math class in 35 years. It really isn't a lot of math. I looked at some of the web sites for kids to help refresh my memory about the algebra I had forgotten. If you have problems getting the questions right, email your TA or prof. I found them really helpful, not at all condescending. They know most of us are math-phobic. My TA would look at what I had done and told me where I made mistakes.
Hang in there!
