Anyone else in this with me? It's up on blackboard!
Dont be worried, take good notes with many examples
I agree about the notes and examples. Someone gave me that advice, and it really paid off.
When you are taking notes, don't abbreviate or leave out words..... it get laborious....... but it really pays off on the exams. Exams are open note open book. Start out being organized right from the beginning. Use post it notes to help you find sections of your notes or book easily. And work out the problems step by step in a way that makes sense to you. It will help you breeze through the exam ( well maybe not breeze through, but help alot!)
Does anyone else feel overwhelmed with this class or is it just me? It is all running together and I feel like I am drowning.
If you feel like you need some more explanation, try a web site called Kahn academy. It is a step by step tutorial. Just search for the concepts that you need help with. It doesn't have everything, but I found it helpful.
Stats can be overwhelming but as we said take notes so that you understand it better and work ahead if you can. Give yourself time to work out your homework. I kept all my notes in a binder. I printed up all the chpters that were offered to print along with the homework. Was a big help on the final
Misery loves company. I am with you. I am praying I get a C in this course. If I fail this course I will be seriously off track in completing all of my nursing courses by December. Don't give up we just have to keep trying.
I think Module 3 was where the video's started, that should help. Also, I used a lot of other web sites to help me understand things I couldn't get on my own. Just Google the topic and see what comes up. I'm not embarassed to say that I even looked at elementary school level web sites.... when you need the basics, gotta start somewhere...
Hang on, keep at it.
My grades for mod 1 and 2 are not posted yet. I am in serious misery also, this is very difficult. I am so discouraged and ready to drop right now. I didn't think the first two assignments were hard, but now that we are into the serious math I am scared to death. Is this really do- able?
