Providence TIP September 2023

Hello everyone!

I wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP program for the September 2023 cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, etc.

Yes! Im still on the fence if I'm going to go. I  have my zoom at 8am for Providence Mission Hills.

Did you apply to any other Providence's?

I really want to know what their point system is ?

Oh nice! Mission Hills will be convenient for you since your in the Valley! I applied to St. John's, Tarzana, Mission Hills, and LCOM. I have an interview for San Pedro next week.

SAMEEE! And since it is highly recommended me attend, I'm guessing that it probably helps us by attending. I just wish we had insight on how this thing is gonna go LOL.

Have you gotten an interview for St. John's? I applied and did the questionnaire but no interview email yet.

yes! speed dating is exactly what it felt like LOL. It was nice to meet the units. Anxious to hear back from them! hopefully it'll be sooner than later ?

Overall I think it went well, they asked a bunch of those behavioral-type questions and I felt that I answered them decently. They threw in a clinical scenario question at the very end though, and I honestly stumbled a bit on that one. I'm pretty sure I missed a few pieces of info that they were looking for but the interviewers seemed pleased at the end of the interview so IDK. 

Did you interview there?
