Hello everyone!

I wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP program for the September 2023 cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, etc.

I feel like they're pressuring us to choose a hospital but aren't giving us the whole picture!!

So I emailed my recruiter and he said inputting the SSN and DOB does not mean accepting the offer it is only part of the " offer drafting". So I guess we are okay to input the information without the fear of losing other offers!

I don't think it does! I put it in for my first offer and still got my second offer given to me. I put the SSN and DOB in before my 2nd interview too

same for me, I put the identity stuff on one app a few days ago and was asked to do the same for another app at a different ministry today

I think its pretty obvious I should give up on any providence offers... usually when you have an offer you're contacted right away. So being 2 days away from the last date is not a good sign ?

I get that it's a crappy feeling not being considered. But maybe this is redirecting you to a better opportunity. 

 

Cedars opens July 31st. 

You can apply to county anytime after you pass the NCLEX

Kaiser opens one of these days too. 

Providence opens again mid October for their January cohort. 

 

I believe in you. You're going to be such a great nurse on your desired unit someday. NOT REJECTION, JUST REDIRECTION ??

I understand. It's not a good feeling especially when you really want an opportunity with their hospitals.

Does everyone think Torrance has already contacted everyone? I really thought I did pretty well on my interview so im a little lost RN..I haven't heard back from Torrance and that was the only providence hospital I applied to.

 

I have another interview tomorrow with another hospital but now im wondering wth did I do wrong at providence so I don't repeat at my next interview LOL..

Torrance barely sent some offers today. 

But I think they're recycling their float pool offers:/

I understand! I did not hear back from my two interviews as well. I wish we could get feedback from them so we can understand what we need to improve on. Try to stay positive! It will happen ??

for the official offer, when y'all put in your social what do you put in for issue date and expiration date LOL I'm not sure what they want for that
