Hi everyone! I saw on Providence's website that applications for their new grad SoCalTIP Jan 2023 program will open up on Oct 17th. I've been checking all day yesterday and today, and haven't found the link! Has anyone else had luck applying?
Hey everyone! I was offered a position for the OR at St Joseph Orange but havent received my formal offer quite yet, was told it should come by the end of this week. Any idea what the pay range is for Providence? The Fullerton location (orthopedics) offered me a starting pay of $36.25 (+$5 night shift differential) but honestly I’m a little disappointed with that number, especially with almost finishing my MSN. Curious to know cause Im debating on negotiating a little bit, never hurts to try ya know?
Hope everyone is doing well in their job search!

I believe the differential is added for the entire 12 hour night shift! Its not included, however, for our orientation hours. Hope this helps!

I'm sorry, that number is down right disrespectful. Make sure to negotiate, they need you more than you need them! With tge shortage, you have the power to do so

Hi! Still waiting on formal offer too, but my friend who started this program last year at St. Joe's was offered $36/hour with $4 night differential...hopefully it went up a little with inflation!
@Cas0880 I just got a call from LCM Torrance. It’s about $47.50 with differential for the ED. I think they pay better when you’re close to LA. The pay is kindaa low but the hospital is really good. Also you get a raise after year 1 which will put you close to $57.50 with night differential!

Not too sure if there is a weekend or evening differential because the recruiter I spoke with didn't seem to know, so if anyone happens to know, I would appreciate any info~~ LOL
What department was this for if you don’t mind me asking? I got offered ER but haven’t gotten a call yet!

I heard from holy cross via email last week, they offered me neuro tele but I went with Saint Joseph’s ER instead.

It was for the ICU! whenever they call you, if you ask about differentials and when to expect pay raise, can you update me here? LOL I didn't get all of the details because it was a very unexpected random call hah

I haven't at all. I was told on my interview that I did good. So, I am still waiting. One of friends said that Holy Cross takes longer, but I don't know.
