As stated above in regards to independence - I believe this is a large factor in requiring specialization. Similar to an MD who has to specialize in a field. You won't see an ophthalmologist perform cardiac surgery, likewise in the NP realm.

July 31 is when all decline letters will be sent. I'm sure that people will begin hearing acceptance before this date, but if you haven't heard anything up to July 31, then you most likely did not get accepted.

When I spoke with the adviser, the last round at Mesa they had over 200 applicants for 85 seats. She said that we shouldn't expect completion for the enrollment until July 31 (at which point decline letters will have been sent).

One of my friends at CGCC has a 3.8 and 100 on the hesi who made it in. Other than her, I don't know of anyone else.
