Pulled from the maricopa nursing faq page:

"Q. How does a student monitor their application and/or change their choices?

  •  Once the student meets the requirements of the admission process, they can monitor their application on the Application Status page at Academic & Student Affairs | Maricopa Community Colleges |. The student can change their choices as often as they like.

  •  All Nursing program students must reaffirm their interest in the MaricopaNursing program each placement cycle before being able to make choice changes. Reaffirmation on student Application Status page at Academic & Student Affairs | Maricopa Community Colleges |.

  •  The college sites and types of schedules change twice per year and the current list is on the student application status page at Academic & Student Affairs | Maricopa Community Colleges |. Notices are sent to the applicants by e- mail when the new program options are available and are open for choice changes. When on the Application status page, make sure all student e-mail address, home address, and phone numbers are correct. "

Is this information outdated? I have never seen an "application status" link. Would be a nice feature to have.

Hmmm - not sure! Have you tried the link? Maybe you could email the advisors?? Has your application gone in or are you about to submit?

Think it is outdated. Had a relative go to nursing school through Maricopa about 5-6ish years ago & was able to go online & see her time stamp & app status & had to renew her choices while she was on the wait list. I don't know if they had CEP at that time.

It would be nice if they brought that back. They'd be bugged less by all us students if we could monitor our own process.

Up until about a year to year and a half ago, there was an application status login. It had time stamps and college choices listed in for you to select. It also had messages from the placement team posted periodically and you could see how many spots were for CEP vs traditional students.

Something happened with the software program they were using. Not sure what, but they are no longer get able to use it. Placement is now done in a more rudimentary way and is not able to be monitored online by students anymore.
