  1. Yea I remember reading that but nothing else. How many emails did you guys receive regarding the whole process starting with the acceptance email? I think I'm missing one I just want to make sure I've read everything we were sent.
  2. Workshop next week starts at 8:30 am right? I cant find the email.
  3. in these kind of situations unfortunately you have to really get out there to get some help because its something that doesn't happen very often so don't give up until you get a definitive answer from someone like a director of the program or someone in charge at the parking lot building(cant rember the name). I hope you get the help you need
  4. @Chipotle24 I'm shocked this actually happened considering that its usually the other way around most of the times. I think you should get in contact with your regular advisor asap and they'll most likely be able to guide you if theres anything that can be done or someone that can better help you to check about this. I wish you the best of luck man I remember I replied to your post and thought you'd be good and assumed you'd email Dr. Malloy to make sure like I mentioned too. I hope they can help you out somehow cause why would they change your major if you're not actually in the program?

  6. @fairee One of the people in charge told me that as long as you showed it was in process you would be ok, they know its takes time so you'll be ok no need to worry. If you want just to make sure email one of the people in charge (in the nursing program not castlebranch) just so they know. @rnlab Answer yes or no if it applies to you, that's it. Neither applied to me so I put no for both.
  7. I would think they only change your major if you are accepted. Snail mail is a lot slower at this time of the year so that may be a reason why you haven't received anything. You should email Dr. Malloy instead of waiting because there is time sensitive stuff you need to get done.
  8. Someone mentioned it a while back, I'm not sure if they made it though but if you can make one and send the link that'd be good. I don't use Facebook at all so I'm not sure how to do that
  9. Nice!
  10. You should use that paper as proof too
  11. I was able to do it online, but if you're not sure download it and it should filled up correctly for you. When I did it, the form was filled out for me so I just had to click the e-sign button and I was done. Try doing it like that just to check what was checked on the form, if that's the problem.
  12. Yea they could have been clearer, but for the liability insurance you had the option to say when you wanted it to be active. I requested it to be active on the 23rd of January 2017 so itll expire on that day before classes start.
  13. THIS 2 important things: 1. If you have immunizations already it is still preferable that you get the titers so that you know for a fact you'll be safe if you come into contact with infected patients! 2. You need to get them AFTER Dec. 10th and before the deadlines so that they don't expire during school time. In other words, while you are in contact with patients.
  14. About NSO... Did you guys pick Registered Nurse for field of Study? I know one of you mentioned it didnt give you that option so what did you guys choose? I chose Registered Nurse
  15. Yes! She said you can do them at the Health Center, but if you're like me and took the semester off you won't be able to get them there because you are not enrolled so they deny any services if that's the case. I went today hoping I could get them done, but thats what I was told. You won't be able to get any services until classes begin next semester. Hopefully I save some of you the trip there
  16. Also, she said we are supposed to get these things done AFTER the 10th of Dec. and before the deadline. Titers/vaccinations TB testing except the flu shot, as log as you had it in this current season you should be good for that one.
  17. I talked To Dr. Raunch and she said its better to just get Titers for HepB MMR and Varicella. She mentioned thats its more for our safety. Basically, make sure youre immune to these things, you could just upload your Immunization record that shows that you have them, but its best to get checked and make sure we are protected 100. (I may have used some terms incorrectly)
  18. For profession I chose Registered Nurse since thats what we're preparing for, I wasn't really sure I should have emailed to make sure
  19. Yes you do a quote and then you sign up for it its an automatic process at least it was for me It says to do a quote and it automatically transitions to signing up for it
  20. Ha! So far I've spent $400 not including the $900 for texts! looks like we are gonna have to get used to spending $$$$ especially with certifications/licenses/insurance
  21. the one I'm taking is in the Sata Clara area, but they have multiple spots, its up to you to chose your most convenient location, but make sure you take a class no online cause it says CastleBranch doesn't accept it if its online
  22. Alright thanks for confirming. I just wanted to make sure cause you cant be too careful. So ARC BLS for Healthcare Providers has a few spots for Wednesday if anyone else is interested.
  23. Everything is due on January 5th, make sure you take the correct course, they have them regularly so you can sign up for any day that's available. I already signed up for Nov 30 with the American Red Cross for a BLS for Healthcare Providers course
  24. Did you guys receive an email from SupportFormFox? If you did, was it just to set up an appointment for the drug test or was there anything of importance? I assume we can just do a walk in for the drug test as well, right?
  25. I'm not exactly sure if its supposed to say the exact thing, but it might be different since the explanation says that if you are doing it through the AHA it should be a Health provider course, it doesn't mention BLS except if its under ARC. I signed up with American Red Cross for a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers class since its the only BLS course available under ARC. It's 85 bucks I assume BLS and BLS for health care providers are the same thing, anyone else?
