I applied and got in to CT community college in Hartford first time. I took 5 semesters of prereqs (including one summer) and had a GPA of 3.8 and TEAS VI of 86.

Does anyone have to give notice to their employer to attend nursing school? I'm in a fix because I want to tell them at work but it's 4 months before I'll be leaving so I'm wondering if that is excessive notice. I work at a bank, and the hours are ...

I know we'll find out at orientation, but does anyone have an idea what kind of supplies, uniforms we should have for nursing school? I'm already cutting my spending way down to beef up the savings but I kind of want to get an idea earlier.
