The rest of my application was pretty much flawless though. Thousands of hours with volunteering and workplace as an MOA. I had three outstanding references and my interview went fantastically! Stupid math!!!!

In my experiences this far, every faculty member seems to have a different idea of how people are chosen. I find that the applicants know a lot more about it :)

It's really hard to say as far as the volunteer hours go... in my letter telling me that I wasn't accepted, they said I just needed to improve my math grade (I applied with awesome grades besides math) and I only had 30 hours in a retirement home.. B...

Yep, your grades are definitely good enough, just try to get as many more volunteer hours as possible before Aug 15th. Try for at least 150 if you can
