I too was denied today. Bummed. Won't give up on Nursing but won't be trying for SMU again. On to the next one. Good luck to everyone and happy holidays!!

Apps are reviewed individually then a decision is made.. I donno? Scary knowing so many are accepted/rejected and wait listed already:(

Hey @Roro1111 I am still waiting for admission decision. It stinks because my current employer (group of 4 cardiologists) are selling their private practice to the local hospital so we are all being transferred which is fine, but they want my availab...

I resubmitted my letters if recommendation. Not sure if they keep them on file or not- but I didn't want to risk them somehow not getting attached to my application.

@msmarie I agree writing sample was tricky with the 300 word limit :/ and I kinda wish it was a different prompt- I feel like it will be hard to stand out at all since are response will all probably be very similar...but I guess they may just be look...

Hey Guys!! I too am re-applying for Spring 2014 @ Samuel Merritt. I applied for Fall start and didn't get in or waitlisted. I was super bummed, but can't let it stop me. I had 4 prereqs in process at that time- maybe one of the reasons I was denied....

Yes @niederbrachj... Only place I have applied thus far.. I too had 4 classes in progress as well. I emailed them back just to see stats for fall semester (if they will give them out- regarding transfer spots available etc) and how I can better my ap...

I got denied :(very bummed, but I too will be working on ramping up my application for Spring. Good luck to all!
