Hi all, I was just wondering who has applied to CHLA's residency this time around, and if you've heard anything back! The application was up during the first half of last week. Good luck to everyone! :)
On a Facebook new grad group I saw that some people were receiving invites, nothing for fellowship though just the new grad residency...maybe you can reach out to HR? Keep us updated :)
Does anyone know if all units are interviewing/reviewing the applications? Has anyone else heard back? I know nicu, cvicu, hem/onc have already started their interview process/invitations...
Hi RNJedi, any tips or anything you learned about while precepting at CHLA? I'm sure you came across New Grads and had a chance to pick their brain a bit!

No idea when we should be hearing back but it seems like in the past it's been AT LEAST a month from application submissions. Some people's status has already changed to routed to interviewing supervisor, although I don't know if that means they've b...
Hi everyone congrats to those already accepted. I interviewed on 3/9 and just received a letter in the mail saying I've been put on the waitlist! It was dated March 12th, fingers crossed!!!
BlueEyes85, if that's the email everyone is referring to, then we received ours around the same time, ...it is the only email regarding my application status that I've received!!!
Congrats to all three of you! I'm just curious, are these for earlier cohort spots or fall 2013 (just San Diego?) :) thanks for your reply in advance!!!
Congrats!!! you've said youre accepted already into an ELM program mcnabb3, did they let you know during your interview? May I ask how many times you've applied to nursing programs? ( since it seems like people have to try repeatedly )
I didn't mean to direct the question as if those were going to be your stats, I realize I may have offended you. Sorry! I was just wondering in general :) but thanks! I just figured since you've been accepted I would go off of what you already know.
I was a bit confused with this requirement; would they still consider you for admission if your four science classes accumulate to below a 3.0? (if undergrad was at least a 3.0 though), and are you assuming your GPA then since you're not done with ph...
Thanks! *fingers crossed* According to this forum, they look at applications beginning next week. I'm assuming that's a lengthy process so probably the rest of December. But I don't think there's an exact date for acceptance letters. Maybe someone el...
Well, I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like that is what's happening based on what people have been posting; so I hope I don't confuse you! It seems like you have a good shot at getting into either cohort though. Good luck!!!
Since you'll been done fairly soon it sounds like you might be accepted earlier than Fall 2013 (if they have open spots), maybe even for the January cohort like Kayt88! Did they mention that possibility at all? I think it also depends on your campus ...
I think it depends on when you're done with prerequisites. Some people have been accepted for earlier cohorts than they've applied for. So it depends on whether you're eligible I think. Didn't they explain during your interview?

Oh no, I would've assumed having the advising session was a positive step in the right direction. I wish you luck in applying, we're all in the same boat just keep your head up!!! :)

Hey jsimpsonlee03 I understand your frustration. Just be persistent, you'll get in somewhere!!! :) I see that you've applied to APU ELM, did you get an advising appointment? Or how did they let you know you weren't accepted?
