That's fine if I don't have a sponsor. I just wasn't sure how the whole thing works. My recruiter doesn't have a lot of info for me, so I have to find out a lot of answers on my own. I am sure everything will work out the way it supposed to.

I will be starting out in med-surge and that's all I know. I am not sure when my sponsor supposed to contact me, maybe during NTP? I am still waiting for my orders and it feels like I am so overwhelmed. I hope I will have some more info soon.

I will be in the January class also. I am a new grad nurse and I will be at Eglin after my NTP.

It would be great if we have a facebook for COT 11-02. I am still waiting for my orders. I talked to my recruiter and he said I might not get it till January. I need to take care of a lot of things but I need my orders for that.

I will be in the January class also, my biggest fear is the push-ups. I am working out a lot to build some upper body strenght but it is not easy for me. I hope I can pass the PT test.

Finally I got a call today about my assignment. I will be going to COT in January and my first assignment is Eglin AFB. Is anybody else going that way? I am very excited and nervous at the same time.

Just found out today that I will be comissioning tomorrow. I don't think I can sleep tonight....lol I have been waiting so long, now its finally happening.

I live in Hinesville and I know exactly what you mean by there is not much to do. I am really looking forward to be stationed at Eglin AFB.

I know how you feel. I should be comissioning in a week and my concern is about loan repayment. I signed one set of paper which states my 4 year contract because of the loan repayment, then I had to sign another paper where I had to decline the repay...

Eglin was my first choice and I am very happy that I got it. I just found out that I should be comissioning in a week or two. Now its really starting to hit me. It has been a long process and now all the sudden everything is falling in place.

Does anyone knows if McDill AF base can be a first choice for base assignment? I am a new grad and have some dialysis experience. I think first assignment is usually in a bigger hospital, but maybe McDill is still available?
