    i once had a nice otoscope. i would check students ears when they hurt. i did not diagnose, just looked to see what might be going on in there. always qualified my findings with "i am not a doctor"...

    yes, i do see it in my elem. school also. students spazzing out....teacher's spazzing out and emotions are high. oh the drama !! i hope we can all hang in there just a little longer praiser...

    i think each area of nursing has it's own stressors. cna work is hard, physical work, and so is nursing. add the mental stress and it takes it's toll on a person for sure ! good luck ! praiser...

    hi rosie....yes i have the same dillema in my elem. school. i too only give ice packs for swelling and some redness. all others get the "magic" wet paper towel ! i have no tollerance for teachers...

    purple, i have no quick solution to your problem, but i do empathize with you. even when you do everything in your power to help them, they still resist. so much for going above and beyond the call...
