I have been in that program since 2019 but have sat out since the Summer of 2020 because I keep losing clinical spots. My preceptor cancelled on me right before classes started this fall so I had to drop again. I have to wait until the Summer of 2022...
The classes are chosen for you and are all online except your clinicals. Lots of busy work, papers, etc. If you can find a school that will find you a preceptor choose that program. I lost my clinical site for this Summer due to this virus. The sch...
If you are full time you take 3 classes at the same time during the semester. There is a lot of busy work but many manage to work full-time. I went PRN,its to much for me to work full-time. I have not been to an on campus session yet. My first one ...
You must have a preceptor before you can register for the semester the clinical is in. If you start in the fall of 2020 you start looking then for preceptors for the summer of 2021 (First clinical).
I didn't do an interview for U of A but I got my acceptance in late March. I can't remember when I submitted my app. I applied to several schools. Honestly, the first semester was tough. I made all As but it wasn't easy. Strangely, health assessment ...
They extended the deadline for my class so it was late March. It was a weird process. I kept checking my app then I saw it changed to waitlisted. I freaked. I emailed them about it and they said it means you have been conditionally accepted pending...
I am in the program. You are limited to only doing clinicals in FL, GA, MS, or TN. I think they only take 70-80 or so between the FNP, PMHNP, and Dual.

Had my interview today for PMHNP. Felt I was doing great. Then I stumbled on one question at the end and it ended shortly after. Only 14 minutes. I did tie in a lot of question into other possible questions though which might have made it shorter. I...

I applied for the PMHNP program late. It was early Jan. Took awhile to get my recommendations in. Would have had it done sooner but the professors from my nursing school were on break. I was told since I missed the priority deadline my app would be ...
In my final semester we had resume writers come to our class to give us tips. One thing they stressed was having a one page resume. You don't have to go into so much detail.
Took mine this morning. Shut off after 75. I felt like I didn't know anything. Had only 12 SATA and 3 drag and drop. Got the good pop up a little while ago but I feel like I bombed it. I studied so hard and I fell like the questions I got were so dif...

I was in that orientation as a volunteer. That place sits 150 and there was at least 30 seats empty. We have people sitting in the floors in classes now. People fail and take up space in the next semester's group. You guys should hear something very ...

I am in the program-I graduate in December. They don't take 150 students anymore. There are not enough seats for that anymore. One of my professors told me they met to finalize the incoming class this past tuesday. So you should probably know this w...

The faculity met Tuesday to finalize it. You will probably here this week. They are admitting smaller classes now. Just not enough room. I don't know exact numbers but the spring class looked 20 seats smaller than usually.
Just wait and take stats your 3rd semester when you are in the nursing program. I wouldn't chance it messing up your GPA if you are not strong in math. You don't have to have it to get in to LSON.
And you won't be. To make it through nursing school you have got to want to be there to get through it. Don't waste your time or money because your heart has to be in it.
Find a program that doesn't make you take chemistry. None of the schools in my area require you to take that. Look around. Get in summer school and take some easy courses to bump up your GPA.
Oh you don't want to wear those ugly booger green scrubs at UT, haha. I kid, but seriously consider the facilities when making your decision. Loewenberg has a new 60 million dollar nursing building that is opening this summer. The fall 2015 class wi...
http://gatherliving.com/ This is on the main campus. Nice place, not sure of the price. The thing is though the new nursing building is a few blocks south of the main campus. No big deal, just not within walking distance. List of apartments from the ...
Acceptance emails went out March 3rd. Congrats if you got in! Not sure if it was the whole class, part, or what. But I know a few people that got theirs today. If you didn't Perhaps you will be an alternate if someone doesn't return there acceptance ...

I am in the same boat. I am accepted into both as well. I would have to do the 12 hours then apply to early progression into clinicals at Baptist. So it is a bit of a gamble if you don't do well in Patho (if you take that first semester). My friend i...
