I thought that there were 15 gtt in one ml. One instructor told me a couple of days ago that it is 60 gtt per ml per Peds. I think that she is wrong. Any thoughts?
I hate them! Anyone agree? These nursing schools need to realize that adults don't have time for group meetings. Usually one or two do all of the work and there is nothing that you can do about it except warn others not to work with the slackers. ...
I am new to this site! Would someone tell me if "Risk for Infection due to the contagious nature of Herpes Zoster" is a good nursing diagnosis. Thanks.
I need advice. I have an instructor who graded me low on a test and will not allow me to see the exam. The exam was essay, so everything is subjective. It is now in the hands of her superior. She is stating that she did not grade the exam, another...

I don't know this, but I am guessing that you are young. She took advantage and caught you off guard. I try to think of things to say to people like that. I had an instructor who always started class late. It irritated me. Once I walked in 15 mi...

You are right. These people never think that they are wrong. They hate for anyone to get a break or have fun. She will never recognize her behavior, so it's a waste of time to point it out. I used to work with women like that. She will be the ty...

You are correct. The females are the most unfair. Thank you for your kind post. I obviously can't explain all details online, but I assure you that I did not cheat as others on this board have implied. This was an in class exam and I am being ref...

hmmmm, Great observations and I thought there was more to the story. BSN, you will not win. You will have to make the choice is best for you. I do not understand why you want to get yourself under the thumb of scrutinize with your nursing school. It ...

I know everyone means well, but the forget it and move on approach will not work. This could jeopardize me getting into NP school. It is that severe. I have to appeal and get to the truth. Changing schools is not an option, because the other scho...

This all sounds very frustrating. I am getting ready to go to work as a nurse tech. I have chosen an area other than the one I am interested in as an RN. Hopefully I won't have that problem. Good luck to you.
I didn't pass my first HESI and studied numerous hours and thousands of questions. I have the HESI book and CD and Saunders newest edition. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'm really worried because my school requires 850 and if you fail 3 times, you are no longer in the nursing program. I am not worried about NCLEX yet because you get multiple chances from what I understand. It is...

With the new format questions in Saunders CR Review, if you don't get the exact spelling, word for word, it counts the entire answer wrong. Is NCLEX this way?
I am a nursing student with an unusual (or not so unusual situation). I am in a class where the instructor nullifies 25% of each exam (giving persons who got the WRONG answer credit and not giving anything extra to reward those who studied). I have...

This cannot be let go. She is failing people who are making the same scores on the exams as the people she is giving the As. It is a favoritism contest. I don't know for sure that I will pass this course unless I take action.

I have many friends who are teachers and none of them think that my instructors methods are ethical, to say to least. In fact, most think that she doesn't deserve to have a job. I appreciate your support. I'll let you guys know how this turns out ...

This instructor is not getting rid of "bad" questions because the answers are in the book or notes in most cases. Also, the I find the fact that she nullifies 15-26 percent of each test odd. She is picking questions that her favorites miss and thro...

These so called projects to promote "teamwork" have taught me who NOT to work with. In the future, some will be asked by myself to find a different group if they come my way.

This is my second BS degree and I would recommend it. However, don't expect faculty to welcome you with open arms because you are a second degree student. The truth is that they SAY they want life experience, however, in reality, they prefer 19 yea...
