Just wondering if anyone has taken these courses through Berkley. If so, how was it? They give you 6 months to finish the class. Not a bad price either.

I've had a couple co-workers go there, and they hated. They said that they were treated like crap. They felt as though the school wanted you to fail. The were treated extremely bad in clinicals. One was thinking of quiting. Don't what both decided to...

Good luck finding an area that has little or no vomit. I mean that sincerely. I have worked L&D, Telemetry, every surgical floor you can imagine, MICU, SICU, CVICU, CCU, Trauma ICU, and PACU. Haven't found an area yet w/o an occassional vomiting ...

Call the schools you are trying to get into and call the MO state Board of nursing. They would be your best bet in finding the info you need. Good Luck!!! FYI: I work here in MO and I worked with a nurse who stole enough drug that it counted as a fel...
Sorry, I didn't respond sooner. Guess I didn't see that you had relpied with questions. Webster is in St. Louis, MO. They are really hard to get into or even get an interview. I don't know why, b/c they are not ranked very high. I applied and have go...
Interview is done. I feel it went real well. No math questions got me. Did get a couple clinical questions after I was asked what type of patients I take care of in my current icu. Thank goodness I prepared and was able to answer them. We talked abou...
Realnurse419 email me and I can tell you about my interview. I can give you my telephone #. Too much to type on here right now. Trying to get to airport.
RealNurse419, are you ready for tomorrow? I'm getting a little nervous. Just trying to prepare a little. Good luck tomorrow. Can't wait to post how mine went and hear how yours went
I'm from St. Louis MO, but lived in Cleveland area from 2004 to 2009. Worked at Cleveland clinic for about 1 1/2 years. That's why I would really like to go there. Did some shadowing in the OR there and absolutely loved it.
My friend goes to Case Western and she got hers online. I don't really think it matters, but you could always call the schools youare interested in to see what they have to say.:)
Got my call today. Interview is set up for Dec. 14th. Will fly in the night before, and fly home right after the interview. Can't wait. Planning on lots of extra deodorant that day. Lol!
I received my later in mid oct. No interview set up yet, but I talked to someone there last week and they said not to worry. They said I would definitely be interviewed...just give it a few more weeks and I should hear something. A friend of mine is ...
Jsut sent my apps in for Case Western, Webster, Newman, and Carolinas Medical Center/UNCC. Anyone else apply to these programs? So excited. Can't wait to hear something.
I also just applied there and hope to get invited for interview. I also applied to Case Western and Webter University. Offered interview with Case. Hope to hear soon from the others. Good luck!!
Not a weird question at all. You could always talk about it in your entrance essay letting them know that this is why you have chosen this path. Obviously. anesthesia for animals is different than humans, but it is what sparked you interest for nurse...
I actually sent my app to Case a little sooner than when I posted on here. They sent me a letter dated Occt. 17th that said they had received all my materials and were sending it for review. I am sure you will here from them soon.
