Hi everyone, I just received my acceptance packet in the mail today! But sad to say I will be declining my seat because I already accepted an offer to UTHSCSA. Congrats to all of you and best of luck on our nursing school journey!

I emailed Mrs A on this and she said you cannot repeat more than two classes to make a grade of C or higher....meaning if you made a C the first time and repeat to get higher you are okay. They count the number of Ds n Fs.

You have to stay on top of the university...it took them 3 months to send my acceptance letter. So keep calling because other than that you will be waiting....and waiting....and waiting lol.

I got an x too because i'm taking two classes this fall. But I got my purple paper and mailed it back last week with a copy of my acceptance letter to the university. I emailed mrs. A and she said she received it.

I called and asked the lady at the front desk this question and she didn't seem to get what I was saying. So I don't know. I hope it's not but I'm about to finish turning in my stuff today. And I think I'll be done if they don't send anything else.

Thank you for all this advice. It is really helpful and reduces stress. I have a good feeling of getting accepted (hope my feeling is right lol) so I will look into that Good Samaritan Scholarship.

I didn't take it at PV but at a prometric site and it cost me $90.

I took mines on the 16th of august n emailed n they said they didn't receive them yet. I haven't called back or emailed again. So I don't know how long it takes.

For the TEAS I used the study guide for the test, the Kaplan entrance exam study guide, and Mcgraw study guide....all that didn't do me any good. For the HESI, I used the evolve study guide for the math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary. For the a&am...

I scored bad on the TEAS too but it depends on the school you're applying to for how long you have to retest. But for PV and the HESI you have to wait 30 days before you retest for them. And they don't require the Chemistry, Biology or Vocabulary sec...

Well at least they don't keep you waiting a long time after the deadline. But I can't go up there all the time because I'm 2-3 hrs away from houston. But I do call to check on my stuff constantly.
