MsCathey_84 You and I are in the same boat. I really wanted the RN but I have to work so the LPN work for me. I want to bridge in the Fall too. I know the deadline is in November but maybe it will be a chance to bridge earlier since we will alread...

Unfortunately:sniff:, I have a million credits and it turns out that I don't meet the school's eligibility according to the SAP rules. I have been at the financial aid office for two days now. I was trying my best not to rearrange the furniture in ...
Just wondering who has received this and can you please provide any details? When were the funds dispersed? Since it's for nursing, did they stick to the 11 credit hours being part time? Any info is appreciated!

The perks are the insurance is pretty good, you get bonuses after you have been there a year, they have tuition reimbursement if you decide to pursue further education, and either you will love dialysis or hate it. There is no in-between! Good luck t...

Hi jlc1986! Yep, just applied to Gaston and hate I missed the deadline for SPCC . I have to work while in school, there is just no way around that. The LPN to RN route works for me. It's the same amount of time and at least I will have something u...
Hi all! I'm trying to decide which program would work best as far as still being able to work PT. If any of you attend Gaston College ADN or LPN program, would you mind sharing your class schedule? Or any CPCC ADN students? Thank you in advance! I'm ...

I agree with @kml0807, ASN about Sandhills. Though I didn't go there I am from Fayetteville and my mom works in Southern Pines. She is taking online classes there now. Had I been smarter in my 20's, I would have definitely went there! But try them a...
Congratulations!! I just recently found out about Chamberlain being in Charlotte. Are the classes day or evening? Depending on the information I receive at the open house, I may apply.

Hi @studentnurse47, CNA, I plan on applying to their ADN and their LPN program this year again. I was waitlisted last year so hopefully this time works out.
Hi! So, I am preparing to apply for nursing school and was told my scores are outdated. The counselor gave me the option of either the ACT or the TEAS V. Which one will I have a better chance on? Honestly, I'm scared to take the TEAS V..!

@roverdewhi! Yes, Gaston is like CPCC just another option for school. And it's a little further depending on where you live. One plus is that if you have taken your sciences early like myself then they won't be outdated if it's within the 10 years.

Hi! I keep hearing the Gaston program is easier. CPCC just extended their deadline for the ADN Spring 2015 program to October 10th. I think I'm leaning more towards the LPN in Gaston. I still have to attend an info session. I have all my prerequisite...
I too just noticed that it was extended! I wonder why as well but either way, it's good for me since I missed my TEAS appt due to work and now I can take it and apply! Good luck to you!
