I applied for Spring 2018, too! I turned mine application in the start of September. I am dying! I am wondering how competitive this is. Also wondering if they are going to make us wait until the deadline to find out!
Hello all! Unlike what my name is, I am a BSN, RN. I am currently a school nurse. I really do enjoy my job. I especially like the time off. I never thought I would have the opportunity to go back to school and become a FNP. It has always been a...

Hello all! Does anyone know how competitive it is to get into UTA FNP program. What kind of GPA do they look for (The site says 3.0, but what is a competitive score?) Is there a set limit?

Thank you again for your help! You input has helped me a great deal! Wish me luck! I have applied for an FNP program and now I am in the process of the dreaded wait! I hope you have a great day!
Thank you so much for your reply. One last question for you. Would you say there is a significant increase in salary from a BSN to NP? (You don't have to tell me what you make, I know this is private information). :)

I have 2 pugs! They are worse than new born baby twins! But I wouldn't trade them for the world. They help me keep going when the going is tough. They are my world!

I wouldn't say hurtful but I would say not as beneficial as more recent! I do have my old textbooks that I refer back to sometimes. Medicine is still always changing.

Hey there! First of all, let me say Congratulations!! My advice to you is try and get some of the medical terminology down before you start. Maybe some latin prefixes. It will help you understand so many terms. (ex: suffix ectomy is removal. iti...

Thank you so much! There has been so much stress as all of you know! It really consumed me! It was pretty much all I thought about! A lot of "what ifs" came to play. :chair:
Hello everyone! After 2 years of worrying if my gpa was going to be good enough, my acceptance letter came today! I wasn't expecting it this soon! I saw the mailman before class and decided to get the mail! A fat envelope came that had "return se...
