I am applying to either the Acute Care PNP or Primary PNP program this fall! I haven't taken the GRE yet and am just starting in a Peds CICU in a couple weeks. I don't think that starting the program with a year of nursing experience will hurt, I hop...

I have a Peds CVICU interview this Friday! I hope it's only behavioral questions, and I hope I don't "blank" and forget good examples to give them!

I would suggest no... Because EFC of 0 is required to be considered.

I would encourage you all to call Elizabeth Fern personally. She was super friendly when I told her I hadn't received an email, she said that there must have been a problem with the email service. Then she told me over the phone that I was ADMITTED!!...

I found out today when I called them.. She looked it up for me because apparently the emails had an issue with it.? I almost flipped out when she told me I was admitted! :yeah:I hope you guys hear soon?? She told me that emails had gone out last nigh...

I got in to UIC College of Nursing!!!!!! I have been waiting for this for so long, and to finally find out feels AWESOME! This was my only and #1 choice! WOOOHOOO

Way to be optimistic!! I don't know what I am... a mix of excited and anxious mostly..?

Aww man, this is killing me, I haven't gotten an email yet!! I wonder if they are slowly sending out the UIC CON emails today? I hope it comes this afternoon!!

That is the understatement of the year!!!!! haha, one week has never seemed so long to me.

I am not sure then, but the info I received was via email as of this morning 9 am... she said they were hoping to have all the letters mailed by late next week Thursday or Friday....

I applied to UIC chicago campus. I only heard this because I emailed Ms. Fern asking when the decision would be available... so I just wanted to spread the word because they haven't mass publicized this to everyone that applied! Good luck~ I'm sure ...

I received an email today from UIC stating that admittance emails and letters would go out late next week. :) Woohoo, we are almost done with the wait!:)

I received info via email from UIC College of Nursing that Fall 2010 BSN admittance emails will go out late next week! So the 22nd or 23rd at the latest! :) (from Ms. Fern) I can wait one more week, I hope, even though I've been going crazy waiting!!

I am taking a 3 week class to become a CNA this summer, and hope to work part time when I start nursing school this fall! Is it possible to find time to work as a CNA during NS? I have no clue...

Ahhh! The waiting is killing me! Hopefully we will all get in! I just wish I had some feedback from the Early Admissions crew as to what their stats were so that I could gauge my chances! Just under 8 weeks left! :)

I am also a transfer.I think that is the only way to get into the BSN program? Unless you have already completed 2 years at UIC undergrad...

I am in the same boat as al... I am applying and freaking out because the last thing I have to do is finish the essay questions. I wish I knew what they were looking for!
