UIC Fall 2010 BSN Admittance!!??!! Who has GOTTEN IN??????

Hey all, I am new to allnurses

I am applying for admittance to the Fall 2010 BSN program at UIC!

Who has gotten in so far for early admissions?

I did not apply for that, but I wanted to create a thread where people can post their admittance and what their stats are

to help other people applying for UIC.

Any replies are helpful to me as I am freaking out about whether I will be able to get in since the admissions last year was less than 10 %!!!

i applied for the early admission but didnot get in but this year they made it possible to resub=mit your essay and recommendation letter which i did so i am keeping my fingers crossed

I'm also waiting for admissions in march/April....we shall just have to wait and see :)

Ahhh! The waiting is killing me! Hopefully we will all get in! I just wish I had some feedback from the Early Admissions crew as to what their stats were so that I could gauge my chances!

Just under 8 weeks left! :)

You girls/guys will probably have my spot if I get the acceptance letter. My GPA is 4.0 with all prerequistes completed so I assume my odds were high. Anways I just got a letter from the Chicago Fire Department to come down for the firefighter position. Been waiting 4 years, and thought it was a long shot, but I finally got it. It is my dream job so I will not be able to attend UIC if it causes any delays in the processing. I will have to continue the nursing program once I get situated with this job. Nursing would be a great side gig, with all the extra time I will have :)

Wow that fantastic (that you got in) I heard that many depts werent hiring and you got in CHICAGO!! Congrats!:yeah:

Only about 2 weeks before we find out!! :) Post on here when you find out about admittance!

did anyone receive an email today that stated that if one is accepted to the program,there will be an orientation on may 1 n that we should keep that date as a tentative event due to the fact that there is short window between when letters are mailed and the orientation

I received an email today from UIC stating that admittance emails and letters would go out late next week. :) Woohoo, we are almost done with the wait!:)

I got in to UIC College of Nursing!!!!!! I have been waiting for this for so long, and to finally find out feels AWESOME! This was my only and #1 choice! WOOOHOOO
